Texas Tech University Press welcomes visitors during normal university working hours. We are located on the second floor of the Administrative Support Center (next door to the National Ranching Heritage Center on West 4th St.). Free visitor parking is available on the west side of the parking lot. If you expect to arrive after 5 p.m., give us a call -- elevator access is restricted after hours. Selected books are available for sale to walk-in customers at the Press office. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
From Texas Tech University campus main entry: Take University Avenue north to 4th Street. Cross the bridge over the Marsha Sharp Freeway and turn left onto 4th Street West./US 82. Keep to the right over the ramp; turn left at the first traffic signal (Detroit Avenue will be to your right) into the divided-lane driveway for the Administrative Support Center. Take the first left turn into the parking lot. Enter the building on the west or south side and take the elevator to the second floor for the Press offices.
From the Lubbock International Airport: From I-27 southbound, take the exit for Spur 326/Avenue Q and proceed 1½ mile south to 4th Street. Turn right onto 4th Street West/US 82 and proceed 1½ miles. As you cross University Avenue, keep to the right over the ramp; turn left at the first traffic signal (Detroit Avenue will be to your right) into the divided-lane driveway for the Administrative Support Center. From West Loop 289 and points west: Proceed east on 4th Street past the major intersections at Slide, Quaker, and Texas Tech Parkway. After the intersection at Indiana Avenue turn right at the first traffic signal (Detroit Avenue will be to your left) into the divided-lane driveway for the Administrative Support Center. Take the first left turn into the parking lot. Enter the building on the west or south side and take the elevator to the second floor for the Press offices.
